I developed a new website and web application for REACH, an all-in-one financial app designed
for
African millennials, providing a personalised approach to personal finance.
Role: Front-End Developer
Technologies: Vue.js, JavaScript,
HTML/CSS, BootStrap, REST APIs
Reach is an innovative personal finance app aimed at empowering African millennials to achieve financial freedom. Available on Google Play, Reach provides an all-in-one platform for users to manage their finances, track spending, and grow their net worth. I collaborated with a team of designers, developers, and a product manager to create responsive and intuitive interfaces that make personal finance accessible and engaging.
As the front-end developer on this project, my focus was on building a seamless user experience that emphasises functionality and ease of use. Key contributions include:
Developing Interactive User Interfaces: Created a visually engaging and responsive front end using Vue.js, allowing users access to information on navigating the app effortlessly across devices.
Faces: Developed a spending personality test (FACES) using transaction informatics.
Transaction Informatics: Implemented a data-driven webpage to leverage consumer insights to connect with target urban demographics
The Reach app was successfully updated on Google Play, receiving positive feedback for its clean, user-friendly interface and practical financial tools. Through my role as a front-end developer, I contributed to building a website that helps users navigate the app and make financial management simple and intuitive.

Reach helped users manage payments, track subscriptions, and make informed spending choices that increased their net worth. By focusing on financial literacy and smart money management, the app supported users in their journey toward financial freedom, no matter their income level.
